How To Look Better By The Time You Wake Up

Is there a magic pill out there that helps use get more attractive? If there is, I haven’t heard of it yet.

I admit that this can come off as pretty vain, but I have also learned that there is nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to making sure you feel and look good. Men- I’m talking to you.

If you’re a true ALister, then you’re already upgrading and up-leveling, so why not take some time to upgrade and up-level your maintenance routine.

Here are my top tips for improving you look while you sleep.

1.     Rinse, Floss, Brush!

Maybe it’s because my dad is a dentist, but oral health is super important to me. Luckily, I’ve gain a true appreciation of the benefits of having a clean mouth before bed. Not only will your mouth feel less gross in the morning, but there are also many proven links connecting heart disease to poor oral hygiene. So get on top of that. Brush your teeth before bed!

2.     Invest in Some legit Face Wash

Are you still buying your face wash from Rite Aid? Well, here’s some tough news, but unfortunately, a lot of mainstream brands use a lot of unnecessary chemicals and unsafe preservatives in skin care products.  You definitely want to wash the grit and grime away before bed, but do it safely. I highly recommend that you do some research and find a paraben free and irritant free skin care line to trust. I use Arbonne products. You can find more info here.

3.     Don’t Forget to Moisturize.

You don’t want to wake up with dry and crunchy skin, do you?

4.     Drink a Glass of Water.

It’s probably no surprise to you that water is essential for your body to work properly.  But if you want to look refreshed in the morning instead of groggy and red-eyed, drink some water. Even if it’s your night out and you’ve already “drank” a lot, one glass of water makes all the difference.

5. Make Sure You Get Quality Sleep.

This is hard for me. I love to fall sleep after a good scroll session on my phone, or after watching Family Guy on Netflix. The truth is that staring a bright screen right before bed actually make sit harder to fall asleep. To ensure you wake up without huge bags under your eyes, you should really  turn off all electronic devices 30 minutes before bed. Try reading or meditating. Or relax your mind, your eyes, and your body just by laying in your comfy bed.

Follow these simple tips to make sure you wake up with that AList glow. Easy to do. Easy not to do. It’s your choice.
